KNCV's work in the Netherlands
Since 1903 KNCV has been involved in the Dutch TB Programme. Although our role has changed a lot since then, KNCV still plays an important role in Dutch TB Care and Prevention.
What we do
KNCV contributes to guideline and policy development and supports reviews of the TB-departments of GGD’s. Technical assistance is given in case of cross border TB control, problems with access to care and other issues.
As a knowledge centre, KNCV organizes capacity building for health care professionals working in the Dutch TB programme and beyond and is involved in operational research.
Since decades patient support is given by KNCV; financial support through the Funds Special Needs and peer support possibilities through the facebookgroup ‘Lotgenoten KNCV Tuberculosefonds’.
